Bus Pingo processes student transportation data on behalf of schools and their authorized providers. We collect only what is required to operate routes, communicate with parents, and account for trips.

What we collect
Account identifiers, route and stop assignments, trip status events, device location (drivers only, during a trip), and parent contact preferences.

How we use it
To run live trips, deliver pickup and drop-off updates, and provide accountability records to the school or provider responsible.

Sharing
Data is shared only within the role-based access rules set by the school or district. Parents see only their own child's trip.

Retention
Trip events are retained for the operational period required by the school or district, then deleted on a fixed schedule.
